C4E Guided Trail

Welcome to Your Spring 2025 C4E Guided Trail

Welcome to the C4E Guided Trail! This 10-week course is your opportunity to explore your personal and professional growth, connect with campus resources, and create a meaningful plan for your future. You’ll engage in reflective and experiential learning activities that will help you clarify your values, refine your leadership style, and build actionable goals for success. 

Let’s make this semester a stepping stone toward the life you envision! 

To complete the Self-Led Trail, students must meet the following requirements: 

  • Accept Canvas Course


Two Scholar Contact Meetings: 

– 
First Scholar Contact Meeting (Week 3): Attend a group meeting with your Scholar Contact by Friday, February 6th, 2025.
– Second Scholar Contact Meeting (Week 9–12): Schedule a 30-minute individual meeting (in-person or phone) by Friday, April 18th, 2025 (5:00 PM). 

Four (4) Assignments:
Assignment 1: C4E Water Break – Taking a pause before getting back to the climb will be completing a self-reflection of your college experience so far and writing a reflective response addressing key insights. 

Assignment 2Understanding Your Leadership and Personality Style – Reflection on the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Assessment will be completing the ‘16 Personalities Assessment’ and writing a reflective response addressing key insights.

Assignment 3Living Your Values assignment will be completing the ‘Values Sort’ activity and writing a reflective response addressing key insights. 

Optional AssignmentCampus Engagement Connection and Reflection will be completing an individual meeting or attending a workshop for an on-campus resource and submitting a reflection summary is highly encouraged if you are struggling to complete your Vision and Action Plan: C4E Self-led Trail Map assignment.

Assignment 4: Vision and Action Plan: C4E Self-led Trail Map will be completed by combining reflection, goal-setting, and actionable planning to help you map your vision for the future.

By the end of the course, you will: 

  • Identify your core values, strengths, and areas for growth through self-assessment. 
  • Develop strategies for meaningful campus engagement aligned with your goals. 
  • Create a vision for your future in areas like career, personal growth, or community involvement.

  • Start strong: “Your leadership style and values are your superpowers. Dive into the first two assignments with curiosity and confidence!” 
  • Keep connecting: “Building connections with campus resources isn’t just a requirement—it’s an investment in your future success!” 
  • Finish with purpose: “Your vision and action plan are the culmination of your hard work. You’re creating a roadmap to achieve your dreams!”
