The biggest benefit of being a part of the Community for Excellence is the relationship that is established between you and your Scholar Contact. Your Scholar Contact is a staff member at CSU that is here for your success. They will help you in a variety of different areas of college which are outlined below in the Network for Success Model.

Community for Excellence Requirements

This is what all Community for Excellence Students receive at the beginning of every semester as a shared understanding of requirements of being in the program:

Each semester, all Community for Excellence students are required to do the following:

  1. Complete 2 meetings with their Scholar Contact
  2. Attend 2 Engagement Opportunities, or Workshops
